Professional Dog Grooming Services
Eden grooming has a commitment to continuous management regarding the impact our business has on the environment. We wish to promote good environmental practices within our business and promote the continued development of best practices. We will communicate our aims to our employees, clients and suppliers. We will seek to improve our environmental performance reducing pollution, emissions and waste.
Transport - Our company is now using a lower emission Smart car for its business journeys. We aim to keep transport miles and emissions to a minimum and will use public transport as much as possible.
Waste - We re-use and recycle as much packaging waste as possible and have asked our suppliers to minimise the packaging they use when they send goods to us.
Grooming Products - We have sourced environmentally friendly, biodegradable bathing and finishing products. They contain no pesticides or chemical detergents and are made from natural ingredients. We buy in bulk to reduce packaging.
Retail Products - We will source wherever possible earth friendly products using the minimum transport miles used to make the product and supply it to us. We aim to minimise the use of natural resources and packaging.
Water Efficiency - We use as little water as possible during our bathing procedures aiming to wash the dogs effectively whilst minimising wastage.
Cleaning - We use biodegradable chemicals for cleaning our studio. Our towels are washed at low temperature 30c in eco friendly products and allowed to air dry. We have a one towel per dog policy.................Continue to next page.
